Evening Yoga in Kahn Park

Evening Yoga in Kahn Park
Evening Yoga in Kahn Park

NEW! Recharge, relax, or revamp your fitness routine with Evening Yoga in Louis I. Kahn Park.

Developed in India thousands of years ago, yoga has become an increasingly popular form of exercise in the United States. Whether yoga’s recent rise in popularity stems from an increase in stress levels or the following of a Hollywood trend, yoga delivers many benefits to those who incorporate it into their everyday lives.  According to the American Osteopathic Association, “The relaxation techniques incorporated in yoga can lessen chronic pain, such as lower back pain, arthritis, headaches and carpal tunnel syndrome. Yoga can also lower blood pressure and reduce insomnia.”

Brought to you by the Friends of Kahn Park and local yoga guru Christina Dollings, the weekly evening yoga session will help you reduce stress, create strength, awareness and harmony in both the mind and body. Christina is also a dedicated vegan, with recipes to share that reflect her commitment to healthy living. As an added bonus, reward yourself with vegan treats, available to purchase from local vendors in the park throughout the summer yoga sessions.
