In the spirit of the movement’s most talented young exponents is Arturo Stable, an energetic, resourceful and innovative free spirit whose broad range of talents defies easy categorization. He has performed with musicians such as Dave Samuels, Esperanza Spalding, Paquito D’ Rivera, Jane Bunnett, David Sanchez, Victor Mendoza, Hector Martignon, Lionel Loueke, Lincoln Goines, Giovanni Hidalgo, Miguel Zenon as well as with the Caribbean Jazz Project and the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra.
We’re excited about the Summer Raffle in Kahn Park!
Raffle tickets are $10 each and may be purchased from board members now, or at the park during our Summer Concerts. Winners will be announced the final concert on Sunday, September 20. You do not need to be present to win.

Proceeds benefit the park’s general maintenance fund, including plantings, fountain and sprinkler maintenance, and permits.
Join us at 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 20 for the last of Kahn Park’s summer concerts of 2015. The Merion Concert Band’s program includes compositions by John Williams, Jerry Nowak, Harold Walters, and Ernesto Lecuona, along with several marches and patriotic pieces.
The rain date for this concert is Sunday, October 4.
Volunteers got down on their hands and knees to pull weeds, clean up trash, and plant new shrubs and flowers, at this year’s Love Your Park Day on Saturday, May 9, 2015. Stay tuned for next year’s Love Your Park Day, or get involved in any number of year-round volunteer activities.
