Join us at Kahn Park on Saturday, November 15, from 9:30 a.m. until noon to plant crocus bulbs, sweep leaves, and clean out dead plants. This end-of-season cleanup is our way of observing Love Your Park Day, and any interested volunteers willing to help are most welcome.
If you have questions, send an email message to Garden Coordinator Brett Volkman at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Join us at 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 14 for the last of Kahn Park’s summer concerts of 2014. The Merion Concert Band’s program includes compositions by John Williams, Jerry Nowak, Harold Walters, and Ernesto Lecuona, along with several marches and patriotic pieces.
The rain date for this concert is Sunday, September 21.
Kahn Park goes on a world jazz journey of the soul next Wednesday, August 13, at 7:30 p.m., with Phyllis Chapell & Siora. The musicians erase geographical boundaries in a survey of African, Brazilian, Latin, contemporary American, and Middle Eastern music.
